6-Day Event 2013

We have been allocated to help on Day 4 of the 2013 6 Day Event, which will be based in and around Moray.  The competition area is Coulmony & Belivat, a new orienteering area so a fantastic opportunity for planners to be creative.  The Central Organisers will soon be looking for volunteers for key posts such as planners and day organisers, so step forward before all the best jobs are taken!  

We'll be working with Maroc - one of the larger clubs - and a couple of clubs that are even smaller than us (ELO and STAG).

Please contact Marion in the first place if you'd like to put yourself forward for a particular role.

The 6 Day Event in 2013 will be held from 28th July to 3rd August, so day 4 will be on 1st August.  As Day 3 is the rest day, Day 4 can be one of the most relaxed for organisers.  As with all events, the 6 Day Event can only happen because of the effort of many individuals.  It's a fantastic event to participate in, and we hope that all club members will want to take part and do their bit to help.
