Coaching 9-10 July 2011

,

Our next club coaching weekend for adults will be THIS WEEKEND 9-10 July 2011 - meet at the end of Kinchurdy Road in Boat of Garten, at 10:00 on Saturday.  Across the weekend we will practise various techniques and hone our skills ready for the 6 Day event that starts at the end of July.  We'll also have lots of fun and eat plenty of cakes.  As ever, sunshine is guaranteed, though I'm currently unable to offer the "no midge" guarantee.

The weekend is open to all adult club members (and club "friends") who have completed about half a dozen courses without too much difficulty.  There will only be a small charge, to cover cost of printing maps.  (In case you're wondering, mixing beginners with experienced people rarely works, nor does mixing adults and children!)

You are welcome to attend for as much or as little of the weekend as you wish;  we usually have 2 morning sessions and one in the afternoon, followed by discussion and review over tea etc..

There will also be a Beginners' Day on Monday 18th July, which might suit some people better;  there is also an Improvers' Day on Tuesday 19th July.  These two are actually National O Centre activities, open to the wider orienteering public.

And if you're not sure that "coaching" is for you, just think of it as coming out to play.  Lots of nice orienteering with friends and no timing or results.

Please contact Hilary Q by carrier pigeon to book your place on any or all of these.
