Callum Scott has planned a mountain bike event around the roads and forests of Nethybridge. If you prefer, you can of course run it! There's a long course with a cut-off option to make a shorter course.
10 enthusiastic sports persons enjoyed a mountain bike event around the village of Nethybridge - 2 individuals ran instead of cycling and one person 'swam' the River Nethy to get a direct route to the second control. BASOC members conspicuous by their absence, so will run event again in the near future.

About the area/map

Nethy
This map covers the village of Nethy Bridge and the surrounding forest which offer the opportunity to combine some street O with forest terrain. The forest itself is incredibly beautiful with some of the biggest trees on Speyside. The down side is that the forest is relatively featureless with deep heather underfoot.
