SOL series latest
Five BASOC members recently received their certificates for the 2011 league series - Adrian Hope, Steve Salem, Alistair Johnson, Marion MacCormick and Hilary Quick - showing that whilst BASOC isn't a large club, we've got some pretty good people!
Class winners were Adrian Hope (M80), Steve Salem (M45S), Alistair Johnson (M14B) and Hilary Quick (W55L), with Marion MacCormick coming second in W65L.
The 2012 series begins on 18th March, with 6 more events to follow throughout the year at various venues across Scotland. Club members attend most of these and are always keen to share transport. Newcomers are welcome at all events - just have a chat with any of the "old hands" about how, when and what to enter.

Well done to all. I had a couple of dodgy legs with two 180 degree errors, but managed to correct without going to far off course but time ticks on. Agree Hilary, not enough orienteering this year due to work commitments. Not at SOL 6 but will hopefully be at SOL 7 to hopefully but a good run in.
