Swiss Orienteering Week 2011

Day 1 finish area,, Andy Hyslop

The Swiss Orienteering Week 2011 comes around again this year. I was lucky enough to attend the event in 2006 when it was based in Zermatt. The terrain, maps and organisation were all excellent and the event ranks as one of the best orienteering events I have attended. If you're looking for a challenge this summer, with lots of competition from across Europe, this really is a world class event worth considering. The down side is that it clashes with the Scottish 6 Day in Oban.
