Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Callum does it again! More lovely orienteering, PLUS a social!
As well as the usual informal Tuesday training, this evening everyone is invited to the Scotts' house in Nethybridge for a social afterwards - pot luck bring a dish please (with a strong bias to vegetarians please!)
About half-way along the B970 between Nethybridge and Grantown, turn NW (towards the river) onto farm track and continue until someone tells you otherwise. There will be an O kite on the track/road junction to make sure you take the right one. PLEASE NOTE details are yet to be confirmed to please check here nearer the time.
Dogs MUST be on lead or left in car - this is a working farm.
