Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

The terrain is quite 'tough' - heather, tussocks and some wet areas between patches of lovely runnable mature forest!
Warning Adders have been seen in this area; please ensure that you have full leg / ankle coverage (i.e. no gaps between trousers and socks).

6:30pm to 7:30pm

Course Information

There are 20 ROMP controls out; each individual will have a course suggested to them depending on the techniques they want to work on during the session.
There will also be other training opportunities this week
* a 'path corridor' course - how quickly can you navigate around this?
* pairs exercise involving planning a short course, putting some controls out and collecting the partner controls.
