Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Orienteering for all standards, ages and sizes, plus BBQ and social for everyone!

Come and sample the delights of the orienteering parts of the Laggan Wolftrax setup - remarkably enjoyable forest and some challenging open moorland if you want it, followed by a BBQ with the option of indoors if wet or midgy.

Directions / Parking

Head towards Spean Bridge on the A86, turn left as signposted for Laggan Wolftrax.

And for our friends coming from the West: head towards Newtonmore on the A86, turn right as signposted for Laggan Wolftrax.

Lovely forest with a slight feel of "is that a wolf over there?"

Dog restrictions

Well-behaved dogs welcome; if they have any tendency to run after small furry things we suggest you keep them on lead as the main road is fairly close.


Loos available, indoor eating of outdoors not looking good.
