Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking

From the B9152 just north of Kincraig take the small road signed to 'Speybank' and park before crossing over the railway line.

Runnable forest with excellent contour detail.

Course Information

Using the courses from the 'Talent Camp', there will be the opportunity for 'head to head' racing across this well contoured area. Most paths have been removed from the map to increase the technical nature of the area. Controls sites will be marked with red/white tapes.

Courses are 3.8km and 4.2km with options for shorter cut-offs.

There will also be the option to 'go for a contour map walk' with a coach. This will concentrate on using contours for navigation.
