Explanation of event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking
Parking is around the farm buildings at Mullochard.
This is accessed from
- North / South B9153 in Carrbridge (opposite the Village Hall) along Carr Road (single track) for approx. 4.2km
- East / North east A938 approx. 1.5km east of Dulnain Bridge, signposted 'Carrbridge 5' and follow this single track road for approx. 4.3km.
- Please drive carefully as you could encounter competitors making their way to the start along the road.
Map / Terrain
A detailed contoured area; the middle part is birch woodland with many rough open clearings and is grazed by cattle so it can be rough underfoot in places. To the east is rough open moorland while to the west the terrain is mainly fast open grassland. There are small patches of bracken; the marshes are mainly crossable - depending on the amount of recent wet weather!
There may be cattle in the area.
Registration and Start times
Registration (collect SI dibbers, limited EOD) from 17:45 to 18:45
Start times from 18:00 to 19:00
Courses close 20:00
Distance to Start is approximately 0.75km with 20m climb; on the way back from the Finish you pass the Start so clothing could be left there (just remember to pick it up!).
Distance from the Finish to Download is approximately 1km.
Course Information
There will be 3 courses available. Provisional course lengths:
Orange (TD3): 2.7km, 55m climb
Green (TD5): 4.2km, 170m climb
Score (suitable for all): time limit 45 minutes, 15 controls.

Entries will open on Tuesday 23rd May and will close on Tuesday 6th June at 23:59.
Entry on the day (EOD) will be extremely limited; please pre-enter to guarantee a map.
Entry fees: members £8 per senior, £4 per junior/student; non-members £10/£5. £1 extra for EOD.
