Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Pre Event Info

Usual club training plus beginners' Community O session 1 of 3.

As well as our usual club training session, this evening we will have an option particularly aimed at beginners (of all ages!) and returners to orienteering, and coaches on hand to help you.

Directions / Parking

Park at Nethybridge Primary School, which is signposted from the B970 on the north side of the village.

Registration and Start times

Please arrive ready to start at 18:30. Expect to be active for about an hour.

Long and short options at varying levels of difficulty - something for everyone!

Entry Details

Fee for this and 2 other coaching sessions AND entry to Newtonmore event is included in our "Spring Community O" fee of £15 per person or £25 per family (up to 2 adults and 3 children). Otherwise usual £2/£1 (senior/junior member, add £1/50 for non-member).

Well behaved dogs on lead please.
