Local level event
Explanation of event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.
Score event suitable for all ages and abilities. Open to everyone, though the event forms the BASOC Club Championships and will be followed by the AGM - both of these are for BASOC members only. It's not too late to join!

Registration and Start times
Meet at the village hall at 11:00. Short walk (together) for mass start.
Course Information
Score course, time limit 45 minutes. Further details will be supplied on the day.

FREE for BASOC members (but you still need to enter!)
Members of other orienteering clubs: Senior £8, Junior £4
Non-members: Senior £10, Junior £5
Pre-entry ONLY - send e-mail to Hilary Quick via Contacts page. Details to include:
- Name
- Your club (if you're a member of one)
- SI dibber number if you have one (no charge for hire)
- Your age class
- Contact number in case we can't confirm that you've returned
- Name of person whose number that is
Note these last 2 items will be deleted immediately after the event, in line with GDPR.
Entries close at 23:59 on Tuesday 9 November.
We will acknowledge your entry and send our bank account details so you can then pay by BACS.
Dog restrictions
Dogs must be on lead, and are not permitted in the hall.
