Report
What a fantastic day for the club champs! Sun, snow and orienteering; a match made in Speyside...
Thanks to everyone who came along and took part. We had a score event with a bit of a twist. Controls counted for different values depending on which order you visited them, so there was room for even more brain work than usual. We have our new Club Champion for 2020; here are the scores:
Jo: 90
Jane: 70
Lynne: 100
Clare: 110
Hilary: 110
Callum: 180
And our Club Champion 2020 is Alice: 240
Members of other clubs, who couldn't be club champions but had fun anyway:
Alison: 140
Finlay: 240
Andy: 260
Congratulations to everyone, especially to Alice for her fantastic run.
Many thanks to everyone who helped collect controls and carry equipment and to Thomas MacDonell for letting us use the area.
This year's club champs will be held at Tolvah, also known to orienteers as Achlean. It's a lovely section of woodland further up Glen Feshie from Uath Lochans. We don't often orienteer here, but it's well worth it.

Waiting for confirmation on where we should park.
It will be at least 500m from parking to the start, mostly flat along forest tracks.
Map / Terrain
The vegetation on the map is a little out of date, but this is a fantastic technical area.
There has been some recent forestry work in part of the area. We will be avoiding large areas recently felled and the map will show small sections of felling.
There are timber stacks along some of the tracks. Please don't climb on them.
