Directions / Parking
Park at the Cairngorm ski car park, right at the top of the ski road. Please park at the north end of the car park; the end furthest from the buildings.
NB - LATE ADDITION:
There are road works on the left side of the Cairngorm car park with 2 designated crossing points. Please use these.
We won't know until the day if construction will be in progress. If construction is in progress on the day please supervise juniors crossing the construction lane.
In general, please stay on the gravel areas and off the tarmac when walking to/from vehicles. We recommend supervising juniors in the car park.
Map / Terrain
This little-used area is a wonderfully contoured slope near the Cairngorm ski centre. It is generally quite steep and rough, with excellent views to distract you. There are a few paths, which can become indistinct in places. The great thing is, even if you can't find your control, you can quite easily see enough to get back to the car park easily!
Registration and Start times
No registration on the day - pre-entry only. If you need to hire a SI dibber (no additional charge unless you lose it) this will be in an envelope with your name on it, on a table for you to collect.
When you enter you will be offered start times in 15-minute blocks between 11:00 and 12:30.
Course Information
Orange - TD3 (challenging for juniors, fairly easy for adults) - 1.6km/85m
