BASOC Coaching sessions
While many of you take advantage of the Tuesday=O training sessions, running around in the dark is not to everyone’s taste! Some of you will also be starting to compete – and there is a choice of many events to go to over the next 4 months. So there will be a series of daytime coaching sessions to help you with your technique.
Lynne will run a series of Friday afternoon coaching sessions with the coaching aimed at TD4 (Light Green) and TD5 (Short Green & longer) techniques (if you come along to Tuesday=DarkO and get round some of the exercises then this is for you!).
These sessions will run from 3pm to 5pm on the first Friday of March, April and May.
You will be required to print your own maps – there will be no charge for the sessions.
Sign ups by the Wednesday before each session, information will be sent to you on the Thursday.
The draft programme is:
- Friday 1st April: Glen Gynack, Kingussie: using slopes for navigation (up, down, diagonals). Sign up by Wednesday 30th March, 9pm.
- Friday 6th May: Nethy Bridge
If BASOC members show that this is something they would like to have, a further series will probably be run in the late summer / autumn.
