An excellent weekends orienteering. Surely Loch Vaa is the premier area for orienteering.
Yesterday at Loch Vaa was probably my most enjoyable day's orienteering.
What a brilliant event today, thanks to the BASOC team.
The courses at Anagach and Loch Vaa were made most enjoyable by what was obviously a great team effort on the part of the club.
Today's forest and course were as good as I've ever experienced. Awesome blue course today - special thanks to the planners
The golden rule - always stop to help other orienteers in difficulty.

At the Scottish Championships last month there were plenty of good results and individual performances to report - but there was also a fantastic example of camaraderie and mutual help transcending team and even national loyalties. Norwegian elite competitor Mari Fasting blogged about what happened when she took a nasty fall during the team relay competition - a great example for the rest of us being set by the world's top orienteers. Thanks to Joe Gibson & Marte Undseth Hagen for the translation from the original Norwegian - click below to read the full article.

Note: Some people have questioned if the 2 finish units had different times. The RtC IT team were testing out kit and replaced 100 with one of their radio control units, but failed to sync the time with the other units. So the overall time is not compromised, just the 100 - Finish leg.
