The days are starting to become longer, we are nearly at the end of the Tuesday = DarkO season. The orienteering ‘season’ has started with club members competing at the Scottish Sprint Champs (Stirling University) and the CompassSport Trophy (Beecraigs, near Linlithgow). Gemma, Izzy and Anna all achieved excellent results; everyone had something to smile about and more experience was gained by all.

It can be hard finding out what is happening for orienteering - here is something to help you with this.
There is a lot taking place over the next few weeks and months - make a note of dates in your diary so that you do not miss any orienteering opportunities!
First of all, thank you to all who have renewed their membership of the club, Scottish Orienteering and some who have also taken out British Orienteering membership. I am sure that you are all looking forward to competing in lovely forests and taking part in BASOC training to prepare you for competition. There is lots to tell you about, so please read on and make sure you put dates in diary etc.
6 BASOC and 3 Moravian orienteers slipped and slid up past Uath Lochans to Achlean. Those with 'dobs' on their feet walked casually around the cars, those without resembled 'bambi on ice'.
