Alice will be part of the GB team at the European Youth Champs (EYOC) at the end of June in Bulgaria.

Here is Alice's account about how she was selected:

The JK 2023 in the Lakes were the main selection races for GB junior teams this summer. The first race was the sprint at Lancaster University and all went well with minimal errors and I finished 3rd. The weather was brilliant and the arena had a great atmosphere, so it was a good feeling to make the podium.
The Middle distance at High Dam was a good, enjoyable area - but I lost time on close navigation in the control circles - something I need to practice!
My long distance race at Bigland was 7.2km with 410m climb with the trickiest bits in the forest at the end, so it took concentration right up to the end when I was tired. But I felt I dealt with it well and finished in 4th place.
It was fantastic being a large event again - I always wish all events were as big as the JK.

My overall performance has resulted in selection for the GB W18 team going to EYOC in Bulgaria at the end of June. I haven't had a chance to look at the terrain yet - probably very different to Speyside and much hotter. But really pleased to be selected and looking forward to the trip.

All the best for the trip Alice and well done from all in BASOC.
