Some fantastic runs from BASOC members at the Scottish Champs last weekend
Well done to all the BASOC members who ran at the Scottish Champs at the weekend. 11 BASOC members travelled all the way to Dalbeattie to take part in the individual race on the Saturday... in the rain! Congratulations to all our podium places: Gemma: 1st W35, Purple Jane: 2nd W35, Izzy: 2nd W18E, Rob: 2nd M65 and Alice: 3rd W14A. Other excellent performances were made by Lynne, Jane Cox, Mehmet, Anna, Clare and Alison. Well done to everyone who took part, for your persistence in the tough undergrowth and for your dedication in going about as far away as we can while still staying in Scotland.
BASOC was back for the relays on Sunday. We had two teams entered, although Lynne made the difficult decision not to run because of a previous injury. Instead, the BASOC Flyers welcomed Marsela McLennan from TINTO to run their second leg.
