Explanation of event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.


Pre-event Information

The race format will be a Score event lasting up to 45 minutes (exact time to be confirmed).
Control collection followed by a 'Bring a Dish' lunch and social chat.

The BASOC 2018 AGM will start at approximately 1:15pm.

Please register in Newtonmore Village Hall between 10:30 and 10:45am. Be prepared to run (except for footwear).
Race briefing at 10:50am.

Free to BASOC club members, £2 to others - who are very welcome to come along.

Dog restrictions

On leads on course only. No dogs inside hall.
